I promise you that I don’t want to have to keep doing these updates. I really want to go back to reviewing books, movies, and music, or playing video games. But alas…the horrors persist, and to paraphrase, so must I. As long as we remain violently occupied, I have to say what I have to say.
As of Monday, January 26th, the Trump administration has decided that 2 public executions and one instance of shooting a man through his door (because he was “resisting,” obviously) was the right amount of violence to, *checks notes* remove some I.C.E. agents from Minnesota, and to replace Micro-Nazi with Tom Homan – the so-called “Border Czar” and idiot who got caught on camera accepting a paper bag full of bribe money from an FBI agent just TWO YEARS AGO. The case was mysteriously closed after Trump took office this time around. Karoline Leavitt apparently thinks this is all some Deep State conspiracy. That Homan didn’t take the money that they apparently have Homan on camera taking. It’s because conspiracy. You know, the usual MAGA “don’t believe what you see; believe what we tell you” bullshit.
So anyway…we’re still going to be loaded up with ICE, I’m sure they’ll still be looking to sow chaos and violence at every available opportunity, but IT’S FINE BECAUSE THERE’S LESS OF THEM. Omg I hate it here. This truly is the dumbest timeline.
I just want you all to know that any amount of ICE out of Minnesota is great. But it’s not nearly enough. First of all, a bunch of people are already dead. ICE kills a fucking lot, it turns out. There are currently (27 days into 2026) at least NINE deaths related to ICE “enforcement.” That’s damned near 3 people dead EACH WEEK.

ICE does need to get out of Minnesota. And every other state. ICE needs to be abolished, and its members prosecuted for their violent and extra-judicial actions. Everyone who instructed ICE to ignore their “policies” and “guidance” in favor of doing whatever they want because they have, and I quote, “absolute immunity” (ahem *JD Couch-fucker Vance*), should face charges of…oh, I don’t know…solicitation to commit a crime of violence, terroristic threats, and maybe disturbing the peace to start. Just cuz here in ‘Murica we like to stack charges, you know.
Anyway, this place is (rightly) a powder keg. The Federal Government has been priming and priming the people of Minnesota, but we’re too wise to their bullshit. We’re not giving in, and I’m immensely proud of us for that. We have remained non-violent yet strong in the face of some incredible brutality. These are squalling little Call of Duty titty-babies with real-life guns – they don’t make it easy not to resort to violence as it is remarkably clear that many of them would benefit vastly from just getting punched in the face one good time in their lives. But we won’t – because I think we recognize that we can’t. If we do, they send in the military. And if they send in the military here, they’ll send them in where you are too. We are living through a new-born fascist state struggling to survive, and we really need to put it down now, before it’s too late.
Remember, Minnesota is a testing ground. They have escalated here in ways they haven’t done anywhere else. Yet. If we let them succeed, it’s not just Minnesota that falls – it’s every state.
