Angie’s Most Anticipated Games of 2026

Just so we’re clear, some of these are already out. I just haven’t bought them on account of the whole ‘I don’t have a job’ thing. I will put release dates on everything and try to list them chronologically. Also, they are going to all be the PC versions of the game. We’re living in a time where only the comfortable can afford consoles, and I am decidedly NOT comfortable. So anyway, here’s my list of most anticipated games of 2026 for your perusal.

Witchspire – Early Access available now

I’m not really sure when the full/finished game is supposed to be available, but early access is out, and it looks fantastic!

OddFauna: Secret of the Terrabeast – Early Access available now

I’m not really sure when the full/finished game is supposed to be available, but early access is out, for this one as well, and I. Am. Into. It.

The Guardian of Nature – May 21, 2026

This point-and-click has really charming art. Because of this, I really want to give it a try!

Moonlight Peaks – July 6, 2026

I played through this demo a handful of times and loved it. You can check out a snippet of that here.

lily’s world XD – September 17, 2026

I actually did a playthrough of the demo on my YouTube. The demo was a lot of fun!

Neverway – October 2026

I tried downloading a demo of this one, but I couldn’t get it to play. I don’t know if that’s an issue with the demo itself or my PC (but I’m pretty sure it’s my budget model-house fire survivor-PC). But it LOOKS really fun! I mean – just look at that synopsis!

Everbrew – Q4 2026

A cafe that serves woodland creatures?! Yes, please!

Inkblood – 2026

With a release date of ‘sometime this year,’ I’m eagerly anticipating this one based on the art. And the cult thing. It looks like a lot of fun, and the art is seriously great.

Moonfrost – this one is actually just “coming soon,” but I REALLY enjoyed the demo so it makes the list regardless

I’ve put hours into this demo – it is a super beefy demo that you can get a crazy amount of play out of. Here’s a snippet from my YouTube:

Anyway, that’s what I’ve got – cozy sims and mystery/horror for my most anticipated games of 2026. 🤷
