Hi all. I am going to use my last post of 2025 to give a quick update on some changes I’m making going into 2026.
- I won’t be taking any more review requests – they keep getting lost in my spam folder, I have more than I know what to do with already, and frankly, I don’t think I’ll ever finish the TBR I have. Especially since I’ve been trying to visit the library more.
- I will be working on adding a form to my site where people can recommend books, movies, music, and games to me. I think that will be fun!
- I’m going to move into gaming a little more. I’m not sure what that’s going to mean exactly, but I think there might be some Let’s Plays or some streams in the future – keep an eye out for that!
- I also want to feature some local indie book stores on here. I’m working on that. Hopefully you’ll see some write-ups on local places sometime soon.
That’s it, really.
Well, also I’ll be putting a few books that I’ve read recently in some Little Free Libraries around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area soon (when it’s a little less tundra-y out). Keep an eye on my Instagram if you’re interested in picking one up (at least one is going to be a signed copy!). I plan to post a picture of whichever one(s) I visit, so it might be fun to see if you can find it!
That’s it. 2025, may it rot in hell, amirite?! Hopefully 2026 will be at least a little less filled with a new catastrophe every god damned day.
